A list of reasons for writing this post

December 7th 2008 07:22
I have three reasons for writing this post.

1.
My wife came into the study recently and asked if I intended at any time today "to experience the pleasure and refreshing qualities of fresh air", so I need to look busy.

2.
My dog came into the study recently and reminded me that his dinner time is coming up, so I need to look busy.

3.
When I upload this, I will have five posts on the Orble front page - four recent posts and a fifth over in the Most Popular list. How cool is that? Don't answer, I'm busy.

dominating the home page . . . watch out, some of the old codgers might form a lynching party . . . you could be the target of a cyber assassination!

Yes, I know you have been busy and sure you've got good reason to - but hey, stop gloating!!

Hi Tracy, I finally stopped being brilliantly and creatively and sensationally productive when I left to cook dinner for four. Hey, I'm good! I think I've had too much red wine.

Hi Morgan, lynching parties are good. I especially like lynchees with sambucca and blackberries, and lynchees with champagne and toffee ice-cream.

Janet, you're right. I feel such a gloat. I also owe you an apology - I promised you that the next post on this blog would be about chocolate.

Yes, Chris. I'll look forward to it. I can never know too much about chocolate!

Although I knew that you're busy, but thanks for this meaningful "busy" post, Chris lol

Rub it in, why don't you. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Allow to stand. Bake in an immoderate oven for years. Rest.

Wilson, you're welcome. Sad thing is, it didn't work. I still had to feed the dogs.

Norm, that sounds like a recipe for a massage.
